Etihad Towers is one of Abu Dhabi's most breathtaking architectural landmarks — a cluster of five gleaming towers rising majestically along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, directly opposite the Emirates Palace. Built at a cost of AED 2.5 billion and completed in 2012, the complex spans over 460,000 sqm and serves as a city within a city, combining a five-star hotel, luxury residences, Grade-A offices, and world-class retail all in one beachfront destination.
Architecture & Design
The five towers range from 54 to 75 storeys, with the tallest reaching 305 meters. Their dramatic sculptural curves are inspired by iconic Arabic symbols — the billowing sails of wooden dhows, the sweeping arc of scimitar blades, and the traditions of falconry. Clad in high-performance glass curtain walls, the towers glitter brilliantly in the Abu Dhabi sunshine and are equally stunning when illuminated at night. The complex was famously used as a filming location for the 2015 Hollywood blockbuster Furious 7.
What to Do at Etihad Towers
Observation Deck at 300 The crown jewel of the complex is the Observation Deck at 300, located on the 74th floor of Tower 2, standing exactly 300 meters above sea level. From here, visitors enjoy a full 360-degree panoramic view of Abu Dhabi's skyline, the sweeping curve of the Corniche, the Emirates Palace, Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace, and the sparkling blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. The deck features a café and lounge setting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy afternoon tea while soaking in the views.
The Avenue – Luxury Shopping The Avenue at Etihad Towers is one of the most exclusive boutique retail collections in the world, featuring 35 high-end international brands and fashion houses, many with private VIP shopping rooms.
Dining The complex is home to multiple award-winning restaurants and bars inside Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, offering everything from Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine to international fine dining. The Rosewater restaurant is particularly renowned for its lavish buffet spreads and stunning Corniche views.
