Dubai Frame is one of Dubai's most iconic landmarks a record-breaking architectural structure standing
150 meters tall and 93 meters wide, located in the heart of Zabeel Park. Often described as the world's largest picture frame, it offers a breathtaking visual journey through Dubai's past, present, and future.
What Makes Dubai Frame Unique
Designed by architect Fernando Donis and opened in January 2018, the structure is clad in over 15,000 sqm of gold-colored stainless steel, with a design inspired by the golden ratio (1.618) and Expo 2020 Dubai's logo. It perfectly "frames" two contrasting skylines — look north to see Old Dubai's traditional souks and heritage districts, and south to see the modern skyline featuring the Burj Khalifa.
The Experience: Past, Present & Future
Your visit unfolds in three chapters:
Old Dubai Gallery – A multimedia exhibition on the ground floor showcasing Dubai's transformation from a small fishing village to a modern metropolis, featuring 3D projections, sounds, and smells of historic Dubai.
Sky Deck (Present) – A high-speed elevator carries you 48 floors in under 55 seconds to a 150-meter-high observation deck with 360-degree panoramic views. The highlight: a glass-floor walkway where you look straight down to Zabeel Park below.
Future Gallery – Return to the mezzanine and walk through an immersive swirl tunnel with VR technology, offering a glimpse of what Dubai may look like 50 years from now.
